Event Description

ESIA Dean Reuben BrigetyJoin us for an Elliott School luncheon! Take this opportunity to network with your colleagues and fellow Elliott School alumni at the State Department. Come also meet Dean Reuben Brigety and faculty members Ambassadors Edward "Skip" Gnehm, George Moose, and David Shinn.

Dean Brigety joined the Elliott School in October 2015 and previously served as the appointed Representative of the U.S. to the African Union and Permanent Representative of the U.S. to the UN Economic Commission for Africa. Prior to his appointment, he served as Deputy Assistant Secretary of State in the Bureau of African Affairs with responsibility for Southern African and Regional Security Affairs. To read more about Dean Brigety's background, visit the Elliott School's website.


Note: Access to the Harry S Truman building is restricted; This event is open only to Elliott School alumni with a valid Department of State building pass.

Elevator Access: The private dining rooms on the 8th floor of the State Department are served by one set of elevators.  The Martin Van Buren Room can only be reached by taking the elevators located at the intersection of corridors 2 and 5.  The elevator numbers are 18, 19, 20 and 21.
