Description:
Please join the Theatre and Dance Alumni Reunion Committee and your fellow alumni, faculty, and staff of the Department of Theatre & Dance (TRDA) for an evening of celebration and nostalgia as we come together to honor Professor Alan Wade’s 40 year service to the Department of Theatre and Dance.
The evening will begin with GW's MainStage Production of King Lear, directed by Professor Leslie Jacobson, and featuring Professor Alan Wade as King Lear. We will then move to the beautiful atrium of the Flagg Building of
the Corcoran School of the Arts & Design for a reunion celebration. Come back to campus and join us as we reconnect and reminisce with our fellow theatre ‘gang’
alumni, faculty, and friends. Additional events such as sitting in on a class, a campus tour, and a
brunch with alumni and faculty are currently being planned for throughout the weekend. For a complete list of updated events, please click here. Please note that registration for the additional events is separate from
the Saturday evening performance and reunion celebration and can be found here.
The cost of this event is $30 per person and includes your ticket to King Lear and the alumni reception with heavy hors d’oeuvres and two drink tickets. Additional beverages will be available for purchase. Please register your attendance by Thursday, March 23, at the link below.
This evening is co-sponsored by the Department of Theatre and Dance and CCAS Alumni Programs.
