Trade, Gender, and Politics: An Introduction to African Development
The George Washington University’s Honors Society for International Affairs, Sigma Iota Rho, will be hosting a panel discussion on the challenges and opportunities facing Africa in the 21st Century. As the global economy expands, the search for natural resources and access to markets has encompassed Africa and caused greater focus on the region. Investment in Africa is causing changes that will affect societies, cultures, and governments throughout the region. Join us as we explore how Africa is reacting to these changes, and how the region will continue to change in the future.

This event is open to all members of the George Washington University community.
