The Dept. of Labor issued a final rule to set the "hourly minimum wage paid by those contractors to workers performing work on or in connection with covered Federal contracts to $15.00 per hour, beginning January 30, 2022; and beginning January 1, 2023, and annually thereafter, an amount determined by the Secretary of Labor."
The Federal Highway Administration issued a request for information on how to best deploy resources to create a nationwide system of charging stations for electronic vehicles. Comments due January 28.
The Employment & Training Administration issued a notice of proposed rulemaking "to amend its regulations governing the certification of agricultural labor or services to be performed by temporary foreign workers in H-2A nonimmigrant status." Comments due January 31.
