The Council on Environmental Quality rescinded its "2019 Draft National Environmental Policy Act Guidance on Consideration of Greenhouse Gas Emissions."
The Postal Service issued a proposed rule to apply the same restrictions for mailing cigarettes and smokeless tobacco on the mailing of electronic nicotine delivery systems. Comments due March 22.
The Corporation for National & Community Service revised existing background check regulations for grant recipients and subrecipients. Effective May 1.
The Dept. of Energy issued a request for information regarding the prioritization of rulemakings pursuant to the department's "Process Rule" for consumer and commercial products. Comments due March 11.
The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation issued a final rule that requires any industrial bank or loan company that seeks to become a subsidiary of another company that is not subject to Federal Reserve Board supervision to enter into a written agreement with the FDIC. Effective April 1.
