The Dept. of Energy issued a final rule revoking energy conservation regulations from October and December 2020 on various residential appliances. Effective February 18.
The Int'l Trade Commission will host a series of meetings to focus on the "potential distributional effects of goods and services trade and trade policy on U.S. workers by skill, wage and salary level, gender, race/ethnicity, age, and income level, especially as they affect underrepresented and underserved communities."
The Food & Drug Administration issued a final rule implementing a new analytical method to determine the concentration of sulfites in food. Effective February 17.
The Dept. of the Treasury issued a notice of a "voluntary survey relating to potential barriers that underserved communities and individuals may face in taking advantage of agency procurement and contracting opportunities."
The Dept. of Energy issued a notice of intent to "identify critical national transmission needs and support the buildout of long-distance, high-voltage transmission facilities that meet those needs through collaborative transmission planning, innovative financing mechanisms, coordinated permitting, and continued transmission related research and development."
