The Dept. of Commerce issued a notification of rescission for two actions issued in Sept. 2020 under now-revoked executive orders that said TikTok and WeChat posed a threat to the US. Effective June 16.
The Dept. of Education issued an interpretation of the department's enforcement authority over discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity following the Bostock v. Clayton County SCOTUS case. Effective June 22.
The Wage & Hour Division issued a notice of proposed rulemaking to withdraw and re-propose one portion of the Tip Regulations Under the Fair Labor Standards Act rule issued in Dec. 2020 related to an employee with dual jobs. Comments due August 23.
The Federal Communications Commission issued a final rule "to adopt specific disclosure requirements for broadcast programming that is sponsored, paid for, or provided by a foreign government or its representative pursuant to leasing agreements." Effective July 19.
