The Environmental Protection Agency issued an interim final rule rescinding a December 2020 rule because the agency's previous rule was "inadvisable, untethered to the CAA, and not necessary to effectuate the purposes of the Act." Comments due June 14.
The EPA issued a proposed rule to measure, establish allowances for, and reduce the presence of hydrofluorocarbons. Comments due July 6.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission issued a direct final rule incorporating the ASTM voluntary standards for children's chairs. Effective August 21 with comments due June 16.
The Employment & Training Administration issued a final rule further delaying a January 2021 rule related to foreign workers and prevailing wages to November 14, 2022.
- The Dept. of Homeland Security also issued a final rule removing an October 2020 interim final rule related to the H-1B visa program after it was vacated by a court.
Cross-State Air Pollution Data
The EPA issued a final rule amending test procedures for industries and municipalities to measure pollutants in wastewater. Effective July 19.
