President Biden issued Executive Order 14030 "to advance consistent, clear, intelligible, comparable, and accurate disclosure of climate-related financial risk."
The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation issued a request for information on current and potential activities related to digital assets. Comments due July 16.
The Dept. of Homeland Security and Dept. of Labor issued a temporary rule to authorize the issuance of up to 22,000 additional H-2B nonimmigrant visas through the end of FY 2021. Effective May 25.
The National Transportation Safety Board issued a notice of proposed rulemaking to remove the weight-based requirements for registered drones. Comments due July 20.
The National Institutes of Health issued a request for information "on research needed to identify, analyze, monitor, and mitigate drinking water contaminants of emerging concern." Comments due June 24.
The Dept. of Transportation issued a request for information to "assess whether, and to what extent, its programs and policies perpetuate systemic barriers to opportunities and benefits for people of color and other underserved groups." Comments due June 24.
Multiple agencies are extending the comment period on a request for information regarding the use of artificial intelligence at financial institutions until July 1.
