The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau issued an advance notice of proposed rulemaking regarding consumer financial services providers making information about a consumer available to the consumer. Comments due February 4.
Foreign Tax Deductions
The Employment & Training Administration issued a final rule to revise the methodology by which it determines the hourly Adverse Effect Wage Rates for non-range agricultural occupations using wage data reported by USDA and BLS suveys.
The Environmental Protection Agency issued a final rule to allow facilities to request approval to operate an existing coal combustion residuals landfill with an alternative liner. Effective December 14.
The Dept. of Homeland Security issued a request for information to expand ongoing efforts that implement the Foundations for Evidence-Based Policymaking Act of 2018. Comments due December 31.
The IRS, EBSA, and HHS jointly issued a final rule with requirements for group health plans and health insurance issuers in the individual and group markets to disclose cost-sharing information upon request to a participant, beneficiary, or enrollee. Effective January 11, 2021.
