The International Trade Administration issued a request for public comments to help the agency to identify key issues influencing the deployment of clean technologies and to foster U.S. export competitiveness. Comments due October 1.
The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau issued a withdrawal of a proposed rule that would have delayed the effective date of two 2020 "Debt Collection Final Rules" until January 2022. The rules will now take effect on November 30, 2021.
The Securities & Exchange Commission issued a request for information on broker-dealer and investment adviser use of "DEPs" to engage with retail investors on digital platforms. Comments due October 1.
The Dept. of Health & Human Services, under Executive Order 14008, issued a notice establishing the Office of Climate Change & Health Equity which seeks to "empower individuals through information, data, and scientific approaches to pursue environmental justice."

The Dept. of Energy issued several actions related to energy conservation standards:

Manufactured Housing: Notice to establish energy conservation standards. Meeting to be held September 28, comments due October 25.

Furnaces & Water Heaters: Notice would reverse a final interpretive rule from January 2021. Comments due September 27.

Distribution Transformers: Notice of analysis for evaluating conservation standards. Meeting to be held September 29, comments due November 10.

Clothes Washers: Notice to amend test procedures. Meeting to be held September 14, comments due November 1.
