The Korean Literature Essay Contest 2019 is open to all graduate and undergraduate students attending schools within the DC metropolitan area. Participants will read an English translated Korean novel Recitation and submit a critical essay.
The application deadline is May 24, 2019, or until the maximum number of applications is reached. The applicants could work on the critical essay during the summer and submit their essay by August 16, 2019. Any Students interested in learning more about Korean literature and culture are encouraged to apply.
  • Eligible Participants: Undergraduate and graduate students currently enrolled in colleges/universities in Washington, D.C., metropolitan area
  • Application deadline: May 24, 2019
  • Submission deadline: August 16, 2019
  • Essay Requirement: A 1,200-word critical essay in English
