What We Do

GW Coders is a study group that brings together students and faculty to apply computational and data analytics skills in research. Share your favorite coding skills and tools with your friends and faculty in no-pressure work-alongs. Learn about new research projects that you can contribute to. Get together to collaborate on coding projects; helping each other out and sharing your work. Meet new people in your field and across the University -- and find out all that we can get done when we connect.

Regular meetups

GW Coders will meet on-campus in SEH 2600 every other Tuesday at 12:00noon ET starting Jan. 25 to provide a social network for students and faculty. We will also provide a Zoom call in for those who cannot physically join.

Add the GW Coders schedule to your calendar to get meet up topics and the link to join virtually. If plans change due to COVID, GW Coders will just meet virtually for those weeks and the calendar will be updated with meeting information.

All our events are open to everyone (i.e. no registration necessary, just show up!). And pizza will be provided. A list of all previous events and sessions can be found on the "Past Events" page.
