The Administrative Conference of the United States issued a notice regarding five recommendations from their recent plenary session. Professor Bridget Dooling is cited extensively in the Congressional Review Act recommendation.
Window Cords
The Consumer Product Safety Commission issued two notices of proposed rulemaking to require operating cords on window coverings to be "cordless, inaccessible, or 8 inches or shorter in length in any use position" due to risks of strangulation in young children. Comments on both notices are due March 23.
The National Telecommunications & Information Administration issued a request for comments on how the agency can best distribute "$65 billion to help close the digital divide." The NTIA will also host several listening sessions. Comments due February 4.
The Office of Personnel Management issued a proposed rule that would "govern Federal antidiscrimination (including retaliation) and whistleblower protection." Comments due February 7.
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services issued a proposed rule to "implement changes related to marketing and communications, past performance, Star Ratings, network adequacy, medical loss ratio reporting, special requirements during disasters or public emergencies, and pharmacy price concessions." Comments due March 7.
