Rising Tides (04/20/2024) Sign-Up Form
Join us for our final simulation of the 2023-2024 Academic Year!

We return with the tenth edition of our annual U.S.-China kinetic simulation. For the first time, Rising Tides will focus on both Taiwan and the South China Sea and the implications of U.S.-China strategic competition in the region. This iteration will include important regional alliances. Also, taking a unique focus, for the first time, is great power competition in the Pacific Islands and great power energy competition. "Rising Tides" will take place on Saturday, April 20th, 2024, from 11:00 AM EST to 5:30 PM EST. This simulation will be held in person at the George Washington University's Funger Hall (2201 G St NW, Washington, DC 20052). If you are interested in being a mentor for this simulation, please contact Anna Sun at gwuscs@gwu.edu.

Please note that the simulation is capped at 100 participants, and any sign ups in excess of this number will be waitlisted. In the event that we have to waitlist participants, those participants will be eligible for priority registration for SCS' next simulation, and will be notified of this via email.
SCS simulations are designed based on the number of participants that plan attend our events. Therefore, registrants who fail to attend the event without giving prior notification (a minimum of 12 hours before the event) will be unable to register for the next simulation. Anyone affected by this policy will be allowed to return after skipping one simulation.
